This month, students doing the walking program may participate in the “Walking in the Rain” challenge. All you need to do is get at least 26 walks completed in the month of April. If you get 26 or more walks done by April’s end, you will earn an “Umbrella Token” for your chain. This “Umbrella Token” is in addition to any other tokens you earn.

There are 38 recesses in April. April is known for its showers, so get moving and earn that umbrella. Remember, you can walk even if it is indoor recess due to rain. Do not wait until the last weeks to get your walks in!

The “Volley for Lollie” contest results are in from Mrs. Swanson’s volleyball unit with 5th and 6th graders.

Taking 4th place with 12 volleys: 5G. 3rd place with 32 volleys was 6B. 2nd place with 33 volleys was 6A, and 1st place with 34 volleys was 5M. Congratulations!
